the challenge is two rounds and the winner goes against chef

They all get same ingredient but they have to cook it differently. To pick partners and courses they pull out the knife

Larissa has the chicken out and is charring it in the pan ...she thinks it is cooked.. she plans on almost burning the skin.

Christina adding lots of butter to her cauliflower puree she cuts into the roulade, hoping it is properly cooked..
Laris chook does look burned but that is what she wants
Derek is playing with broth.. he loves it and chook is perfect... he plates it....He is up first they love the look of it. me too.... they try it... they make cravat hold the bowl up cos he is making a mess...so flavoursome, oil on top adds so much; chook and noodles are great they really love the broth too

Christina looks great... gary said solid flavours but chook is overcooked

Simon... lifts the lid and it looks great.... Gutsy serves and they eat...... freaking good dish said gutzy...... I wouldnt mind the recipe either.. they love it

Lari... it looks great even gary agrees. it is a knockout dish.... everyone loves
it... and the chook while it looks burned is suculent says Cravat

Today Larissa can pick any ingredients she wants but must fit in 1 basket and is only allowed 1 trip to the pantry.
Adam has to use whatever she picks ...Larissa picks....

She is doing a sweetcorn pannacotta
Cornflake ice cream 75 mins he has 60 and he cannot see the ingredients till he is ready to cook

Lari talks with matt... he asks have you done it before.. no... he looks a bit scared for her
she is smart and works on two ingredients which have to set...... she just looks so calm as she cooks

Adams up he looks at the basket.... and is dismayed.... curry leaf....... what is she doing

she is frying curry leaves gantry watches in amazement
panna is set icecream is good.. swwet corn popcorn. Matt tries it... he doesnt look happy.. too sweet.. she adds some salt she likes it

the mob are at queenscliffe in Victoria

4 course vegetarian menu for 30 diners
4 teams 1 course each

Prep and cook at the stations. Plating and serving on the train

Must feature a mystery ingredient but you wont know what it is till you get there

they plan well, but gutzy says 10 mins get going... I hear portotbello mushrooms gutzy said more butter.. Nushhie is doing the oil....

Chris and Nicole have zuchhini... blah ! but they like it. maybe scrape it out and stuff it..?? they decide on 6 different ways pickled stuffed.... start moving says gutzy. 2 purees, grilled, stuffed, pickled, lots of zucchini!

Tim and Tessa's ingredient is eggplant yuck..and these two are carnivores so not overly impressed.
Roasted eggplant, eggplant chips. Slow cooked egg too? Gutzy said ambitious... dukkah nuts? yoghurt

mushie dish mushies on toast... ha ha they are making a pangratata..... bread and hazelnuts... they need crunch bitter though when they taste it.... have work to do

Derek and Simon have figs
they will make a cake with fig sauce. The plan is to place the fig in the baking pan and our the mixture around it.. Both a bit wary as both of them
prefer them uncooked...

Lari has mushies in oven...for 5 mins... Nushie still working on oil ... Lari remembers to do a plate for gutzy.... he tries it...... yum..... then whinges at how messy everything is.. looks like a train wreck ha ha

those slow cooked eggs are not cooking.. debate over other things to do with them.. but that might involve peeling... they said that not me!!

Simon and Derek are motoring Simon is worried about his hair as he puts a cap on....now seriously he thinks he spends time on his hair.. always looks messy to me

the train is pulling in so mushies have to be loaded... get going pack store lari yells out orders poor Nushie... but they must get on the train.. and you beauty it is all done then Nushie thinks to secure benches so it won't move when train moves...smart

gutzy comes to zuchhinis.. nice dish but is it too small....mad panic to work out what to add and what will work without going soggy

omg the mushie dish looks superb.... out it goes
gutzes get it..... oh shut up gary toast on mushrooms indeed!!!! cravat tucks in.... gary said it is gritty in a good way.. crunchy he means. cravat loves it but thinks maybe too much lemon

here comes the train girls... are you ready? Gary ushers them on.. dont forget it if you forget it you cant use it.......

marvellous looking dish but so complicated for a moving train

gutzy tells egglant 20 mins to go the eggplant might be ready but the eggs no way so they up the temp and then he cracks his wedding ring and manages to get it back

zuchs are having trouble plating....... they both ignore the other as they agree with eachother!!!!..you might have to see that to understand!

the purees are good, the flavours and textures are great.. very clever very impressive. they try and steal bread from a table!!!! they wipe their plates..
