simon counting figs syrup is great ust need to do the fig leaf cream... not absorbing it...gutzy tastes it and says I dont like it... it is bitter.... okay change it to mascarpone .. derek gets an idea dehydrate the fig leaf and make a dust.....
hmmm....

final round.... fresh herbs tessa wants it so does everyone...... Tessa 30 mns Simon ups it 35 will tessa bite? she needs the herbs so she goes 40...Simon 45? nope

spices..Simon and Derek want them: tim too.... simon 20 mins and Tim gets the spreads and derek gets the sauces for free

Tim has 90 mins pork two ways ribs in pressure cooker crispy pork belly some fmaggies fig jam not sure about the nightshakes yet

Derek eggs alleums and sauces....... never done this dish makes pasta and some sort of quail eggs gonna use apple cider vinegar to make ricotta///he also soo veys duck eggs both gary and george warn him this could send you home

Simon lamb loin slow roasted carrots in own juice carrot are the hero

Tessa waits nervously she is up slow baked JD on bone a herb and citrus crumb and a dill sauce...... she knows there is a way to skin it but not getting it right

simon carefully preps it..... wants it to look great.... even though carrot are the hero.... I dunno I love em raw

Tessa has skin off.... judge hover ..loos good,,how is she going to cook it not a great amount of time.. they warn her about baking it.... cutting it so fine.....

derek moves to ravioli instead of tortellini and another crack...judges say it is a disaster

derek fettuccine onion sauce cheese and slow cooked duck egg... trying to push onion flavour through it.....

tessas fish hasnt quite got t here she ups the temp..... loves the herbs but regretting the 40 mins she pais for them

derek has spare duck eggs in case of a disaster..... one duck egg no good.

Tim's dish looks good... not really crackling... shame

Derek is next duck egg with smoked pasta..... he burned his hand too
they terrorise him what went wrong.... give the poor bugger a break
so they try it...... not impressed with it visually and it is so small... they dont like it

Tim it looks nice enough but the crackling leathery.... it is a shame

Tessa uncertain gary said it looks pinnk next to the bone... gutzy says your place depends on this one piece of fish... crap how mean
