I feel like making a carrot cake. Last time I made one it was a recipe out of either the newspaper or the TV guide which is in it on the weekend. I wasn't overly impressed so I've googled. Good grief, so many recipes, so many variations all claimimg to be the best. I'm going to use them as a guide and make my own concoction I think. If it's any good I'll post the recipe.

Made the carrot cake, haven't tasted it yet but had to fiddle wih the frosting to get the taste right.
I made rice pudding for dessert.
The soup is quite sweet, last one I made was better.

Not happy with the cake, frosting not bad. I don't know why I'm bothering when I make other nice cakes but I do enjoy a piece of carrot cake every now and then. I'm on the hunt for a perfect recipe.

I just made another carrot cake, made a few adjustments to the recipe. I want to take a cake along when I visit my brother in law later as a peace offering after forgetting to attend his party.

I like to see carrot in the cake so i guess that means a bit of texture. I had a stunning one yesterday at a cafe.
