I haven't seen this new show on nine yet but I am gonna watch it and blog it... I miss having a show to talk about even if i am always hopelessly behind

all right, it is a cold and rainy Sunday,,,, let's see what t his is all about

all I know is that there are six families involved.. probably all loudmouth stupid annoyances.
oh it is multicultural.... all different cultures and habits
Matt Moran is in charge, some bird with bright pink hair Tom parker Bowles and some other chap i missed... you know Misty, she will get it later

there seems to be an awful lot of yelling and screaming and rubbing of turbans or head scarves,, whatever.. there is a lot of it

each week someone gets the chop

well there appears to be a group of scarf wearers and they all seem very noisy
oh that other judge is hayden....... remember from MC?

Suddenly the kitchen doors open and omg all I hear is yelling.. and everyone is going bananas then they all start crying and hugging... yes folks it is gonna be one of those shows

we see a normalish looking family they are the victorians... they say they are serious about food..about 10 times

ten the Gibaldi family Sicialians.... loudmouthed Italians I think they said that

then the scarfs brigade.. NSW they say they are Aussies four sisters and nothing is quiet.... even whispering is yelling

now the Wassies are here....... they like eating food and that is their inspiration. these are pure white types there is no panicin they say

then there is another loud mob Greeks this time.. they all yell and admit they all thnk they know the best way and tell eachother this....

now the Viets... we met some of these characters at Norton Street festa... Nguyens..... he annoyed me at festa

so into t he kitchen much ooohing and ahing and yelling
wow the kitchens are done up into family rooms.. all painted different colours.. the Italians and the Greeks are already at it..... oh dear....

Matt comes in what do you think of the kitchen.. great approval

each family has a cookbook... it has the info you need for every c hallenge... once you open it clock is on

so o ff they go... it is all about coooking family dishes for a dinner party..four guests but noone knows who

Italians mum takes over and the son starts arguing. she walks away and tells everyone else

now the scarfs are concentrating on rice and other Leb dishes,,,,, they are yelling and slagging as they organise..oh no one is playing with the flour and spraying it over people.... oh this is panic city

all right Matt warns em judges are watching their dinner guest will be their judge all competition and remember you must do a dish you do at family gatherings.. mmm it all smells good.

omg the scarves are really panicing.....
now one of the Viet ladies is panicing over dessert
judges are going on about real food and passion and love nothing frizzy said Parkerbowles

i gotta admit I like the Vics food lots of seafood.... mmmmm

matt watches the vics with an eagle eye...... all those desserts
he is horrorfied at t he way a salmon is being butchered.... it is not gonna work.. it hasn't been skinned properly.. too much flesh on it.. it won't dry out and crisp up

The Italians are just chatting away happily as they cook.. Nona keeps an eagle eye on what is going on,, they are her grandmothers recipes... Matt notes frank just shouts and does nothing.. he talks to the old Greek guy to distract him......

Viets dessert not going as planned... silly girl only did one and now it is stuffed..... no time to rest and horribly sticky

Matt comments on t he Viet kids... they are so young...dad tells us the story of his life and then realises how much pressure there is.. get going

Waussies are just going about their business...mum supervises the glazing of the beef.. take it out now.. it is good now.... don't burn it.. but it seems good
totally opposite the scarfs...............and only one dessert.. not started

oh bliss one of the scarves is losing her voice... ha ha

vics are a bit behind with four desserts..... maybe they should ditch one,,,, the chilli choc torte gets canned... but mutiny in the ranks the blonde vic goes on with it,,,,,

omg one of the greeks is destroying me,,, he keeps saying relax and then screaming where is this where is this.. he gets sat on by mum...now mum is confused and uses the wrong olive oil know it all son starts telling her she shuts him up..... apparently the oil is too strong.........
mum now worried about the dessert.. doughnuts
