Our old computer died last night..everything was lost..everything.. Despite me doing a backup. Only a tiny bit is salvageable....

Hub said damn it..I will get you. A new one...so we are now on win10.. Culture shock... We have managed to get it to look more similar...but it is gonna be baby steps

Bummer about losing your data. Get an external drive to back-up your data in future.

I don't like W10 but it is all I could get for the notebook. You'll get used to it. I'm in the process of building a new computer from an old Vista comp and I am installing Ubuntu Linux.

We will be watching tomorrow night. Also, I'm going to download some HK USA, that's what the new comp is for..... downloading.

we had all our data backed up... but and don't ask me why.. half the stuff didn't come back......half my pirated programs... i can't get them back.. a total disaster. I am so angry, I could have bought new shows instead of buying an external drive.. this time I am backing up the Misty way... i will save it all in separate folders.. all the dlded programs will be there and I can just reinstall them.. I know I should have done it my way.. I may be useless with tech but I am a damn good organiser

That's the spirit Misty.

I clone my hard drive so if something happens, I can start from the clone since it has everything from my hard drive. These days, external hard drives are cheap.
