so off to the fish shop for cod. the entre.. sounds okay and then I hear the dreaded word......... miso.........blah........I detest the stuff

now to find duck yum oh no star anise......... oh what are they doing to me
main is Star Anise duck with snowpea and Cashew salad
Manu said it works but watch the star anise Pete likes the sald but wants to know what sauce
dessert raspberry doughnuts with dark choc a nd hazelnuts oh gross.... I hate raspberries and dark choc
and not mad on hazelnuts.. hub just laughs.. give her a goos choc cake or cheesecake some icecream simple... well it is true

so settingup instant restaurant the 'stume room short for costume room.... they want t he guests to feel like they are going to a costume party

now they need to start on the entre and guess what, they have no star Anise....... nowhere..... not on receipt.. nowhere so off to the shops for it..... the other one starts scoring the duck
so guess what first shop they are out of stock

so off to Coles yes finally she has it wasted 45 mins getting it

cod is being marinaded

now she is home and star anise goes in the bowl

guest walk..most of them are dressed up rach is bitching already..... I don't think they can handle the stress of the kitchen..

anyway they arrive and are greeted and then taken to the restaurant... 80s they say.....not what I remember...greeks calling it a mad hatters tea party... people are having fun with t he costumes

guests are discusssing last nights fiasco... the guests are kind until botoxxies .. the maain was like a bg of poo..... roula is so pissed off she wanted to dob.. nasty bitch. Suss is very upset botoxxies thought that was kind...they kill me these two bags of plastic

kitchen... preparing vegies and discussing Manu
PM arrive are greeted and taken to the restaurant and the menu is read...there are some very happy faces.... some not so impressed.

matty of course has no idea what miso os and hopes for some lemon with his fish ...bless him

so they decide to use a pan even though they have never done it before.... they are onto it... watching the bigger pieces and the smaller bits

all done and entre is served
it looks and smalles delicious says Ash
even the vics are impressed
kicks rach in the face.. i cannot stand to hear another whiny word..

Matty just tried duck and he likes it.. manu said very impressive1

duck goes into cold pan skin side down so the fat renders.. sheesh you know, they are whining about how hard it is to cook a duck....... it ain't you know,,, hub smiles indulgently,,, even he agrees I can cook duck

but apparently the sugar in the marinade is burning the duck... ( I did warn against marinading it)
