now they are all preparing the crispy elements a pile of different vegies
sarah tries her pasta
Hooda has trouble putting it through the roller... chef helps
sarah is happy with hers.. trays them and then back into fridge
she starts the carrots
gutzy yells a lot
hooda still on t he pasta chef urges get those carrots on. hooda is doing a panic and then burns her hands on boiling oil..she works as her other hand is in iced water

time to pull duck meat off
then takes the white from the yolk,,bloody hell. hub says piece of cake ha ha
coming to the last... audience tries to help Sarah who basically tells them t o butt out ha ha
Lisa slicing the celeriac readying it for the puree chef hovers
mushies need to be done and plating will take time
10 mins to go
sarah is finally done.... except fo the celeriac puree...she microwaves it
hell I dont think I have ever eaten celeriac...

Sarah has forgotten the chestnut puree
hoodas is up first
it smells good and it appears a lot of the texture is there
gutzy plays mother .. mmm it does look good
carrots under but flavour balance is good.. as a while the dish comes together well says chef the others agree
Lisa is up next
mmmm it looks quite nice to me.. chef disagrees an attempt to disguse the large base
they taste..... maybe not so elegantly plated but Cravat really likes it
gary doesn;t like it at all chef said unbalanced
now Sarah... minus the chestnut puree
they like the plating.. it is pretty but missing the chestnut puree ( to my mind this would affect the flavour balance..... well we all know they have favourites.... so they eat

today there was yet another ridiculous immunity pin challenge and sashi won it.. now he has two and I am sorry but I am over this nonsense....I couldnt sit through it again t o blog it

so today we have a group challenge...
fire... we need fire to cook and we need to know how to manage it apparently
red team gets meat blue team gets sf
Ben red Blue hooda
2 hrs 3 course meal...over fire no gas no electricity. 6o fire fighters
now they have help from lennox who cooks over fire all the time
they must also keep eyes on the fires and keep them going
entre char grilled squid in a marinade garlic and chilli coriander Samira is making bread main king fish blue
kristin and reece are keen on baked mousse of some kind
red marinated quail with crispy sage roasted capsicum
red beefsteak and cauliflower for the main
smoked choc ganache with berries and fennel disgusting
quail needs a realy hot firepit Lennox said

they are putting the caulis in a tray and into the fire... um I see burnt cauli... not much oil.. be careful

now the squid for eg must be cooked quickly on a very hot plate or it goes chewy

hooda comes to check on the progress....... okay all hands on deck to help them get the entre
now red team.... oh dear the cauli looks burned to me,,, george carries on like a stupid chook. Ben said it looks like it has been through a bush fire... toss it and start again.. but not enough we need another element and fast. george checks ovens and grills one not hot enough the other too hot... Ben is really trying but...........
