10mins to final change

Callum is feeling ok, and hoping it will be ok at the end

Poh still doesnt have duck cooking warns gordon

Duck is finally in the pan but only 25mins to go and it needs to rest after cooking
It should have been in quite some time ago which is why the judges mentioned it.

Sarah, Lynton and Callum are communicating really well
The judges seem to be happy with that.

Rosa confused with Simons sauce
The sauce has gone lumpy and has split
That is curdled. Yuck.
Did not look nice at all
has to be redone

Poh on her dessert but thinks it is too salty, wants more coconut milk which ironically she told tessa not to put in
Poh has the pancake cooking, bright green

Tessas fish is a raw dish
Simon asking his team if they need anything from the pantry, conpletely ignored

callum on the spatchcock.. keeps checking the temperature Josh hovers.....

10 mins to go

hayden doing entre..... not happy with asparagus..ben said it is okay..... about 7 mins the team agrees
one min till prawns says amina simon keeps saying good
simon loves the kinefe dessert.....

ben has a pile of things to finish off and then plate

Khanh duck in over now...... not hot enough... only 44 needs to be 62

but the duck... now the duck.... 30 secs in oven to go
tessa in a panic.
that hasnt been sliced yet. Khanh seems to be ignoring everyone and tries not to laugh
finally he slices it....looks fab......

gordon loved the energy and passion and the communication was great.

tessa khanh and Po
sour and sweet
looks and smells amazing, tucking in
Melissa loved it all harmony
gordon calls it balance the duck fat is rendered so perfectly.....
Jock.... the duck nearly killed me... amazing
andy you guys set the bar really high

Honey sarah ben and Hayden
the dishes look fab.. I am allergic to honey ..couldnt eat it...
melissa.. thought honey was risky but you did it so well, so restrained... the quality of the food alone
they all agreed.. Jock said I would have burned the honey a little more

blah I do not like any of this.
prawns ruined... just not my taste and dessert cannot eat custard...
but what do the judges think?
Andy loved the first two dessert a bit sweet
Melissa loved the three
Jock said the sand whiting was beautifully cooked
gordon agreed... very unforgiving fish well done

andy adored the calamari
Mekissa this is food you want to eat
gordon calls it breathtaking

Chris from season 1 is my favourite to win too. He was the winner in season 1 in my eyes.

So far I am enjoying MC, but can’t fathom why they had a competition the other night which resulted in a winning team, only to put that team into the elimination.

I love it frocky... I love that there are no coatailers... everyone has to prove their stuff...
so fight for an immunity pin that can be used next Sunday
and there is Gordon standing there... looking at sarah and Lynton and callum

Gordon does a dish and you have to keep up with him.... no references or photos.. just waht he says and your skills........ you have to finish 10 secs after he does

Gordon said I cant slow down I wont slow down you all know about the jeopardy of choc souffle ( no I dont) well that is okay we are not doing it

so what are we cooking to avoid elimination... no one wants to be the first t o go
potato crusted murray cod vegies and a macademia puree

fillet the fish.. hold the head slice down and throigh.. let the knife do the work.. oh too hard for me... just be careful.... trim it... sarah is falling behind... he shows how to do it.. frocky you probably know, I am never gonna do it. ha ha take the skin off..... ( no) he holds it up

slice tail make it beautiful... what about bones.. oh dear..... he says stay tidy. the boys are with him sarah isnt

200gm of macadamias into the blender.....Oil and sherry vinegar in with the nuts plus some seasoning and Enough stock to cover the nuts and blitz
sarah really behind jock tries to calm her.. Gordon says move on.....

callum blends too high at first gordon said start slowly then let it get momentum.... gordon and Jock tell callum to slow down
Sarah is feeling a bit better..
callum tastes gordons puree and Lyntton does too
Joch helps out by being kind

put it in a ladle and push it through

on the minestrone shell peas add zucchini. sarah caught up callum still on puree and panicing
add red peppers sliced and diced.... now fennell dice it....

Gordon is cooking the veggies now
Callum is struggling, think he missed the zuchhini
Jock calling out encouragement to Callum

Talking about next step when the veggies are ready
Dont use too much stock
Callum only just getting his veggies in

Gordon and the others onto the next element of clams

a glug of olive Oil, and then toast it

Everyone is mesmerised by Gordon

Clam into the hot pan, toast,
Lid on.....then alcohol in and fire!
Lynton almost takes his eyebrows off
it was a huge flame!

Callum finally getting there
lid up 1/4 cup of chardonnay, lid down lid up add 1/4 cup of fish stock

potatoes slice shows the size..... melt the butter takes the mandolin.. careful w ith the spuds.. making scales.. Lynnton gets the dish ,,, slices cant be too thick or too thin

egg white mix.. callum looks for a whisk and steals gordons... ha ha h

eggwhite on fish add scales.... he does for or five at a time like counting coins.. he sows everyone... wow!

pick it up tun pan over and place scales bottom side down ( like you put a plate under a cake to take it out.... amazing ideas

fish can only be turned once... sarah does it well uhoh she is ahead of him... how does he do it spatula under the fish and flips it. His is a bit darker than Sarahs callum goes and has a look gordon shoos him away..... Lynton does it... looks lovely

butter in the pan.... thyme baste the fish
zest a lemon over the minestrone
Lyntons looks a little less well done

spoon of macadamia in centre
syphon of vegries and plate.... drain off the jus....add olive oil over vegies fennel on basil on fennel fronds lift fish up 10 secs to go
