Jock says a shame Cooking of clams was nice. But sauce wasn't pleasant Missing the promised chili

Braised/fried pork to me it looks lovely
Jock worried about it and it is tough to cut.... a shame Melissa says she thinks the dish doesn't do the pork justice it was so tough she gave up cutting it

Andy said it needed another 20 mins.. the sauce is backgrounded not at the forefront whatever that means

Round 1 is a taste test of a dish which has never been off the menu. you have to name as many of the 20 ingredients
as possible three lowest go to round two
Pho’s worried .. she is not good at this.

Amelia has no cue about pasta but raves about it she loves the sauce.. it is really hard.
tessa very different from usual Indian test is both visual and taste

Laura says pasta is really soft might be chick pea and coconut milk based

simon so refined and super fragrant ha can see some stuff

Poh' brain has gone blank she has a handful of ideas but hasnt written em down

Poh got 4 and is in round 2 Rose Chris and Ben 6 we only need three contestents so you 3 go to sudden death
take it in turns to cook first two to get it wrong goes to round two

They enter house and hailey shows the pasta not pasta they tasted
Great, they are cooking that first dish.
Only 2 chefs knows how to cook it
is is a very silky pasta due to the chick pea do not leave it unattended as it will set in 10 secs. the pasta is a very long thick pasta

60 min to cook and 3 min to plate just before they and the worst going home

Time starts now

Ben knows by tasting it’s going to be hard cook
Ben grabbing everything he needs and going to multi-task and he is good at following the recipe

Rose reading it carefully and wants t o know what she is up against they urge her to start or she will fall behind
she is trying....... Jock hovers.. rose is doing her best. but has never done anything like it before

2 sauces 1 with basil and I with A special type of chilli and tomato.

Poh did her oils and started her dish and knows she has to nail it
She is fighting hard says it is a lovely dish and hailey tips not to take eyes off the pot

Poh makes a mess with t he flour
Apparently she is a messy cook. Whoever would have guessed that

Stir pasta mix for 20 min and start getting color

Rose still behind and 45 min left

Bens has oils done and pasta not pasta is cooking but color difference to haileys
hint hint Ben.
Ben is missing the tumeric the spice which makes it yellowish it looks different to her and finally it hits him and he adds it

Rose working on paste and doesn’t want to move away from it and she has 10 sec to roll it out....so much to do.... but she said do not walk away.. poor Rose

All doing their not pasta
Poh telling us she want to do it justice but hasnt quite hit her stride... not ready t o leave yet

Ben left his not pasta to do oil that’s a no no red sarah warns him so do the judges.... something is not quite right...
he sees the lumps... he whisks faster now he is second guessing himself...

Hailey worries Ben pasta will stick

Pho pasta ready and laying it out
She happy with it
Not thick or thin and silky

Ben is doing his pasta now looks lumpy and not happy
Ben looks screwed
Pretty much.

21 min left he has to redo it
Cutting it fine.

15 mins left - time to rush
ben tries again,. working like mad....

rose spreads the pasta... perhaps it is too thin

Poh onto her coconut sauce now she freaks not enough time to finesse

Ben looks defeated he is running out of time... he gets cheered on... then he ditches the 2nd lot.. no enough time. he puts it through a sieve to remove limps and it looks like it might work. as he spreads it it does look better

Rose up to coconut sauce everything else ready and worried time is going run out

5 min left

Poh is messy as usual and starts to cut and roll her not pasta
3 left
Ben rolling his and is happy.. it has worked

Poh finished and rose rolling her pasta and cutting it and rolling it...

30 secs left

Rose's are not rolling up nicely even though she thinks they are.

Ben happy he didn’t give up

Po first she loved the cook. she plates up

Judge happy with the look they all are lets taste
Jock things flavoured well...close to yours
Hailey happy with it and would send it

Rose next said it was crazy.. i am proud of it but hopefully it is right. she plates
bitchface is making faces

Looks good but maybe too much white stuff... too much rush...
the pasta was just a bit thin to carry the sauce
Melissa talks about Lime and Coconut flavours
Rose is in trouble.
Whole chill needed to by chopped and sauce is sweet and pasta too thin

doesnt look that good to me

Andy loved it great depth of flavour.. so silky
Jock agrees and loves the sauce.. and it is quite like yours
she likes it too
