Emelia making holes in spheres for the straw and is now having a lot of trouble tying the balloon

she makes the colours for the outside... she dips the spheres into the choc and
she is so glad..That sphere looks beautiful when it comes out of the dip.

Simon does his.... and he is very happy with it

Brendan's moulds aren't coming out. He never refridgerated them.
Finally out.... jess encourages him
Jess is just the sweetest egging Brendan on Kirsten too....

Khanh sphere has broken because it was so thin. strange I thought Kirsten thought they were thick... oh dear it looks an awful mess
His container was very small compared to what Simon and Emilia used for dipping.
He has broken the other shell now too. he say his fingers are too fat... Jock and Kirsten stand by encouraging him.
There’s no watermelon stripes but this one didn't break....

Brendan being very innovative
Brendan has an unusual method of putting on his stripes.

Simon oh no Simon has broken his sphere trying to pull it off the paper. Wouldn't you have picked it up and peeled it. or tried sliding a knife under it perhaps..he has to use his other one, not nearly so nice.

I love khahn but his watermelon looks like crap this is so damn hard he tells everyone...
Khanh is going to paint on the light green paint in the last seconds.

Brendan first.
They are commenting about how he went rogue with the stripes but they like how it looks.
He has a monster straw...it does look quite good.
Judges love it
So many positive comments.

Khanh next nowhere near as neat looking but not terrible.
choc is good apart from base
andy said there is some pretty good flavours
the chantilly could have been whipped better
Jock s aid excellent job on tempering
Judges are finding positives which is nice.

Simon next.
sad to see this one is a bit wonky.... but he is pretty sure what is inside tastes good.
Aah it was a Melhito.
Don’t look the best
Mel says it is a little A little thick may be an understatement. it almost breaks the knife!
Simon worst so far in looks and cutting
Elements all there, just lacks finesse is the judges decision.


Emilia’s looks the best
Out of Brendon and Emelia right now
it seems Emelia has the upper and unless the taste is dreadful
Kirsten can't fault it . Emilia has immunity. and there are no arguments from mel
jock praises it highly.. just like yours

My thoughts are that Brendan was 2nd and he should be proud of himself.
although she is a dessert/cake person, so you would expect her to do well. However that was a very hard dish, so I think they all did well to finish it at all
Brendan got the honorable mention. Great, he deserves to know that.

k poh is doing 3 dishes. Ones that her dad loves. her dad was a dreamer.. like Poh

reece is doing his Nan's sponge recipe, with passionfruit curd and strawberry something. and it is based on custard powder of all things

reynald has dropped stuff everywhere.... he is a bit upset the virus has shut all the restaurants... rudderless he is making some sort of drink Jock is looking very impressed as they discuss it

and guess what Brendan is doing noodles lol

has done the same dish as brendan.. but no doubt they will be different
she said her dad would say your noodles were great shame about the soup.. ha ha
so how is it... oh yes they love it..mel is blathering...
Andy says thanks you have opened me up to a whole new flavour profile
Jock loved it... glad I didint have to eat it it was very hot

it does look great...
they crack it and this passionfruit stuffs oozes... a hit.. now how does it eat?

jock said it tastes nothing like a ferrero rocher ( that would have to be good in my opinion) but it is one of the best desserts I have eaten this year... mmmmmm it looks amazing too. in 60 mins Jock just doesnt get it.. but he would love to have it on his menu
Andy agrees.......... and keeps saying 60 mins

Khanh..... oh lord is he bringing one dish or a banquet....
