Beef Rendang tonight from Manu's latest cookbook with roti. Everything dor the rendang is prepared. Fred's dad is going to make the roti.

Fresh figs and fresh peaches. Enjoying the last of the crops this season. Also mangos from a friend's tree.

Not sure what I thought of my dinner tonight. The others enjoyed it, I thought it was too saucy. I get the feeling Manu tweaked his wife's recipe so he could have "more sauce" ( said with French accent)
