apparently the silly show with all those ghastly contestants is back....I caught a glimpse of a few of the characters... so far I haven't seen any of those dreadful sisters. So as long as I dont have the urge to kill anyone I will have a go at this show

well I have watched the first two epis.... it is full of loonies and weirdos.
thankfully none of the dreadful sisters... but we have some characters.... from all over the world... are you getting the picture????

three dishes to cook four hours straight
cant start one still you finish the first

Toms dish is first and he wants a spicy dish
we have Italians and vegans and people from the middle east we have brothers and sisters and mates...... there is a lot of yelling

so lets see people go through the instructions
two big boofy guys feel good Argentinian steak with charcoal... think they are Italian not sure. Judges watch in horror .... charcoal on t he raw steak..Matt is gobsmacked

giles girls from qld korean fried chook.. they love cooking this dish they feel good about cooking and love cooking all sorts of things

weirdo Afganis who are loud and think they are hot and believe they are the best.. they say we are not just hot we are hot and spicy ( they are not hot)

the blue team Tart something. they are happy judges are not

vic siblings... pale blue are doing something vile with chick peas ..oh it is pumpkin soup..... Matt is not too sure... but parker says oh favourites done well.... she is vegan, he isnt

green not good looking at all... ha ha some sort of meat dumplings... maybe the ugly sisters... ha ha


orange team doing a laksa.. and judges approve

yellow Italians.... vegetable stew with lots of chilli... they dont like hot food... so it is a bit hard for them

red team..... no idea

purple tea... boy an girl... she yells a lot at him .. it is a ruse to make others think it is crap

ugly sisters smell burn.. they say the boys have burned the steak

Italians have made bread too

so folks are serving up.. ugly sisters fighting with eachother over nothing from the sound of it

right so they now stat on Matts meat dish and the judges taste the food

Italian are going meatballs yummo
vegans are cheating using tofu
blue tarts rack of lamb pistashio crumb mash potato
giles are also doing lamb rack....

judges try the giles korean chook and are rapt

now the yellow italians..... bread is great but parker not happy only spice is chilli

the lakhsa gets the nod

the ugly sisters get the nod

Lebs dies on the palatte

Evans thai mince lamb and fails
they dont like the pumplin soup
now the charcoal... this they love...

ugly sisters go for lamb and rice... some sort of special rice that only they have
then one the the blue tart boys says I guess you girls are cooing lamb and the ugliest of the ugly sisters snaps at him it is none of your business... how rude...

they have no trouble with the lovely Giles girls

silly vegans.... using cauliflower instead of meat.. parker shakes his head. Matt said it is not the brief.. they can fail for this

Waussies mum and daughter are third ... think there might be some Maori there.. doing suckling pig and say would normally be done in a hungi

Italians are doing meatballs and homemade pasta with her rolling pin no machine./ wow!!!
uglies have lamb in pressure cooker... a screech or two now they watch the blue tarts and the Giles and they pronounce it gilesesis...
alas Giles girls got the temp stuffed up and meat is at risk

Italians are behind mum takes so long and as daughter hears 10 secs she starts to go... but she doesnt get there on time.............the dish cannot be judged... everyone is upset..... Matt is upset cos he wanted to try it. Daughter is so upset... cant say I blame her

terrible really cos this was dad's favourite dish.... and the anniversary of his death. The lovely Leb boy tries to comfort daughter........ but she is inconsolable

so onto desserts

now the judges taste
uglies first and it is a hit
then the blue tarts.... meat good potatoes bloody awful...
leb kebabs are yummy
pork belly is fabulous
ala the giles girls. it is raw........
the vegan dish fails.. lovely dish... just not fitting the brief

now uglies are on top alatini giles blue tarts and of course italian are on the bottom

desserts giles doing some sort of meringue and passionfruit curd
blue tarts rhubarb and strawberry crumble
alatini dumpling and sauce some sort of island dish
lebs chocolate something instead of cheese
purples a tart of something
vegans oh lord making meringues about of the juice of chick peas
italians ricotta (home made) canoli
uglies are doing a rice pudding .. yuck and oh dear the pot overflowed.. how sad

Anna wants something with wow factor.. bread and butter pudding wont cut it
blue tarts are making spun sugar... they have never done it before and are stuffing it up....
the vegans have it to a fine point...so the blue tarts go and ask for help and they get it.... but they still get it wrong!!!! they go for whipped cream and honey/// and then decide to go mad and put the popping candy into the cream and off it goes

giles is not working that well.. pastry is doughy needs more resting....

anyway time is up and everyone got it to the table

oh the islanders are Tongan.... and mum and daughter slag eachother all the tine

judges get a shock when they try the blue tarts popping candy.. a pleasant one
alas the giles tarts are wonky too much sugar and pastry wrong passionfruit curd divine
